Surgery went well. He is still in the ICU and will be for a few more days {at least} while they closely monitor his kidney and his heart. He may need to get a pacemaker, I want to stay "installed", but not sure if that is the right word in this case, and we're still unsure if his one functioning kidney will get back to pre-surgery function. We'll just have to see how things go.All in all, he is doing well. Bless his heart, {no pun intended} he is really groggy and sore, but given time he's going to be just fine.
