There really is nothing better than eating a warm, freshly picked strawberry. Ummmm.Little strawberry shortcake over here sure had a good time picking and eating (Notice the strawberry juice on her shirt? She was covered by the time we were through.) every single strawberry in sight.
Thanks for the pictures Emily and Ginny (and thanks for inviting us!)!
*And good news loyal blog readers. Our broken camera woes are almost at an end. Our new camera should be here in time for our 4th of July festivities! And you know that means lots of pictures ahead.*
Oh my goodness! I can't handle the cuteness.
ReplyDeleteDid you happen to pass by the Purple Pecan Pie Man of Porcupine Peak? (ta-da-ta-da-ta-da-da, ta-da-ta-da-da)
I absolutely love that picture of her in the strawberry field... it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing you will be here in 15 DAYS as I can't stand how cute that little girl is, and that she is there and I am here! Fun new blog look!...can't wait for you to teach me how! Love ya a million chocolate dipped strawberries!
ReplyDeleteWhat a doll! Berry-picking children hold an inexplicably soft spot in my heart. "Blueberries for Sal" (Robert McCloskey)and "Jamberry" (Bruce Degen) are must-have books for berry-picking kiddies!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I love strawberry picking too. Just made lots of jam last weekend. An easy secret my mom taught me for removing strawberry (or any berry) stains - put the clothing in the sink and pour boiling water through it a few times until the stain fades. Works every time - and so little effort - no scrubbing! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, seriously, this picture made me want to be McKinley.
