We are so SO sad to be loosing our Fillmores! You couldn't ask for better neighbors or friends! We were playing games together last night and after Melanie finished building an artistic domino tower she asked how we liked it. Ty knocked it down with his foot and said "that's how I like it." See!? Now that's friendship! How many friends do you have that you can knock down their domino towers and they still love you?

This was taken right after we moved in. I can just hear her cute little voice saying "Can I try on your shoes and play with your jewelry Meghan?" We love you Fillmys!! Thanks for being the Mertz to our Riccardo, the Rubble to our Flintstone, the Sunny to our Cher (well maybe not that one...). You are going to be so missed!!
What a fun idea for their farewell bash...even though I am a Miracle Whip gal! I am sad that I won't get to see them again...but who knows, I'll bet all of our paths will cross again somehow? After all, it's not just anyone that I will let put their hand on Mckinlay's knee! I'll bet Jonathan will miss not having Dad come up and tell him what video games are appropriate for him to play?! Give them all a hug from me!

ReplyDeletewow! thanks for the tribute to US! this is the first chance i've had to look at your blog for forever, and here we are highlighted on it. basically, meghan, we're going to recruit you to mayo just like we recruited you to allston/brighton. we'll make "vote for ty" signs to put up around the clinic for the doctors to see around interview time. we'll scout out houses for sale on our street (or maybe directly next door.) we're leaving, but you're coming with us. so just accept it. we'll sure miss you for the year in between, though!!!
