This is my 2nd birthday. I forgot how awesome our kitchen wallpaper was.Someone else just celebrated their 2nd as well. OUR BLOG!! Can you believe we have been at this for 2 years? I know you're thinking, "What did I do before I had the Lovelesses blog to read?" Right? Ok, just humor me.
You guys have been there through it all with us. Like the time we ran the Boston Marathon, our different apartments, swollen feet, Mckinlay's birth, our Themed FHEs (which had it's one year anniversary last night!), vacations (remember how bald Mckinlay was?), celebrations, obsessions, holidays, and classic moments just to name a few.
To say thanks for reading about us, we thought it was time for another giveaway. Leave us a comment and you could win! Tell us your favorite past post, or something about you, or just say "hey"! We will put all the commenters names in a hat and draw a winner at random. As an added incentive, if you haven't commented before, we will add your name to the hat twice! OK, who can resist that?! It is a lot of fun to go back and review how little hair our kids had when they were little. I still can't get bug's to grow much past her shoulders and she's in the 2nd grade!

ReplyDeleteHow can I choose a favorite entry (it's me remember?!)...I truly love them all! Every morning I turn on the computer, log on and go to my web page and look...YES! It is a great day if there is a new blog from Megs! It helps make these darn miles not so far. You have made me smile, laugh, and cry...sometimes all at once!? ReplyDeleteMy favorite post might be the "Ve are Swedish people" entry from July 2007. I know I'm entirely self absorbed because the post is about me and you, but it sure made me happy! And besides, you began with the picture where I'm dressed in denim from head to toe, and the brim of my cap is as flat as a board! It's fantastic.

ReplyDeleteI ran into Melyn (I don't remember how to spell her name) at Walmart awhile ago and she said you are doing medschool at Harvard. That is fantastic. Your daughter is adorable. I hope you love Boston. Did you know Martha Larsen Wingate just moved to Boston? Her husband is doing a PostDoc at MIT. We can't seem to get out of Utah, despite all of our trying. Too many good things to stay here for... and we are having baby #3 in July (our oldest will just barely be 3 then), so it is good for us to stick by family for a little longer so I don't go insane =).
I have Marilee's email address. It is marileewebb@gmail.com. They have an Alta High blog (www.altahigh98.blogspot.com) that they host, but it is private I think, so you can ask her to invite you to it and you can see what lots of high school friends are up to and post on it yourself.
