Boston Marathon

After 3 years of living here, I finally made it to watch the Boston Marathon! This is my friend Amy. Mckinlay was right below us. Asleep. In her stroller. Don't ask me how she managed that one with all the noise.
It was awesome! We got to our spot just as the first two women were running by. What an inspiring site! Here were these two women surrounded by a police escort, with hundreds of people cheering for them, giving this race their all. It totally gave me the chills. These runnings were amazing! I was standing there clapping and cheering for an hour and I was tired. I can only imagine...
Whenever Melanie is around, Mckinlay prefers her to me. I think it is because she thinks Melanie might give her whatever it is that I wouldn't give to her. Or maybe Mckinlay just has really good taste. Probably both.

  6. Yay for watching the marathon right out of my window! Except the constant supportive cheering gave me a migrane by the afternoon . . . oh well, the grass is always greener!

  7. Ty
My second cousin just ran in the Boston Marathon ... he did really well, just over 3 hrs. I can't even imagine running that fast!! I would have loved to be there and experience the festivities first hand.

I am so glad I found your blog, sorry it took longer to make a comment :) it's fun to find friends from High school and BYU. Blogs make you feel a little more connected to the outside world when you are home with 3 crazy kids! I love it though!!!

I know Adam S. from freshman year at BYU - he was one of my really good friends! He was and is a really good guy!
