Last night was "Movie Night" for our August themed FHE. After we put Mckinlay down we watched Deja Vu and The Holiday. It was so fun to have a movie double-header and for Ty to watch a movie with out feeling he really should be studying. So far, we're loving 3rd year!! Ty said the other day that this is the first time, in a long time, that he is excited to go to school every day.I know the "F" in "FHE" stands for family, so I'll have you know we watched Baby Neptune before putting Mckinlay down. And lucky girl had her buddy Pauly come down and watch part of it with her!
On another note--just when we thought we had nap time all figured out, Mckinlay throws a wrench in. When I went in to get here this morning, here is how I found here:
Now instead of crib = sleep, crib = jungle gym. She fell asleep in the car today and I managed to keep her somewhat asleep while carrying her in the house, but as soon as I put her down, she was wide awake and climbing. Sweet. I guess we'll be lowering the crib mattress tonight.

Well today sure has been a milestone day!! Thought I'd add this video 'cause someone decided it was time to crawl!
Congrats McKinlay, what a wave of accomplishments!! Wowza, I'm so impressed by that smiley little gal, she always seems so happy & now has mobility to match! I can't wait to get back to Boston to see all this development in person - what a doll!

ReplyDeleteMcKinlay is getting so big...I wish that we could have seen you in Utah. We will have to coordinate next time in hopes that something might work out. Happy 3rd for you!!!
