Mckinlay went to the dentist for the first time today.
She was pretty excited about it and was lucky enough to get to see Dr. Hatch {a.k.a. "Keegan's daddy"}.

No cavities, a new toothbrush, flossers, a pencil AND pony stickers?
I think it's safe to say her first trip to the dentist was a success.
Well, maybe we should say it was her first "official" dental visit.

And just for the record, I finally went to the dentist this week too.

I'm also cavity free. No one was more surprised than myself, except maybe Ty. I was positive they'd say something like "Let's just pull them all, unless you want 12 root canals."

ReplyDeleteThis is just adorable. She is going to be such a pro at going to the dentist based on all her early experience.
ReplyDeleteI just made an appointment for Madelyn to go with me to my next appointment (not until next spring when she will be on our insurance.) Today I got a little concerned when while watching Finding Nemo, at the part where the dentist is drilling, Madelyn began to cry and said "scary dentist". Mmm...hopefully by next spring she will be over it.
ReplyDeleteAnd tell Mckinlay congratulations for me. Really, is there anything better than having the dentis tell you that you have no cavities and that it can be credited to your excellent brushing...no, I don't think there is anything better.
