It's a "double mallow day!"

1) Ty passed the Medical Boards!!!
Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed that he would just pass!
Not only did he pass, but he did really well!
{And we were so nervous...}
That's my boy.

2) My {not so} little brother got his mission call!

Louisiana, Baton Rouge Mission
{Hooray for the deep south and the bayou!}
He reports to the MTC on October 7.
So excited for you Tyler!

And all of this good news happened on Maddle's birthday!
{Happy birthday Maddle!!!}

  2. Hello, who doubted The Quite Genius? (That's what we call Ty, becuase he seems like a nice, regular guy, but really he's a savant in disguise).

    And my dad was born in Baton Rouge! My great Uncle lives there on the bayou and has a pet alligator that he feeds raw steaks. And he's not LDS . . .

  7. sounds like a triple mallow day to me!!! Ty, did we even doubt that you would pass...come on really now!? Robyn, you will have to give Tyler your Uncles address so he could look him up if he gets anywhere near...at least maybe he could get thrown a steak...I'm sure that won't be his usual missionary diet!?

  10. Congrats! But come on- of course Ty was going to pass with flying colors. It does not surprise me at all that he did REALLY well. :) Congrats to your brother, too. I had a dream before I got my call that I was going to go to Alabama, Chinese-speaking. Is your brother going to be speaking Chinese in Louisiana? :)

    I loved all the new posts on here, too, especially the mustache post. Too funny. If you drew straight lines for the mustache, slicked your hair back, took off your glasses and drew some black circles under your eyes, you could have done the pedophile look. Shoot-is it even ok to joke about that?

    Anyway, love your blog and miss you like crazy.

    Oh and to Robyn's comment- oh my goodness- that mental picture. Awesome.
