We're here!

We made it to Cleveland safe and sound. We've been here for 5 days now and the house is all but unpacked. We just have pictures to hang and a few odds and ends to put away. I'm pretty impressed with us {this is mainly due to Mom Lovelesses help. Thanks a million!}

Also, thanks to everyone who helped us on moving day. We had some excellent truck packers, and Chris -- not a thing broke, so no worries! We won't be harboring negative feelings for the rest of your life.

Mckinlay loved packing the truck. I think she thought it was her own personal playground complete with slide.

After packing and cleaning, we decided to spend our last afternoon in Boston on the Charles. It was the perfect day for kayaking.
And apparently the perfect day for a dirt bath. While we were waiting in line to return our life vests, Mckinlay found a "bar of soap" and she sat down and proceeded to wash herself, head to toe, with it.
Cute.

I got to spend my last night out with the girls. So much fun, and looking at this picture makes me cry, so I can't say anything more.
{And I don't mean cry because we moved away from Finale...although that might make we cry too.}
The drive out was uneventful and easy {totally doable for any Bostonians who want to come visit us -- hint hint!!} and we were so excited to pull into our drive way -- except for the fact that there were about a million misquotes there to welcome us.

We did have a major casualty however. The day after we arrived our car died. It's the end of an era. So sad, but she "done good." She waited until we got here before she died. What a major blessing! And we were able to find and purchase a new car all within 24 hours. Double blessing!
So here we are.
So far, "The Ohio" has treated us well. We're happy to be here!
