Thanksgiving continued.

We had a great dinner at the Christopher's house yesterday complete with:
little smokies

and a talent show.
{Pardon the neck craning. If I flip the video, it gets out of sync.}

Mckinlay and Ty have been practicing their circus tricks for weeks.
Jack recited a turkey poem.
Marcus favored us with the "Egyptian" and crab walk, wheelbarrow and a somersault.
Brooke did some amazing foot-grabbing-shoulder-swinging.
It was awesome.

And did I mention the amazing food?
or the pies?
numm-ers.

And we're thankful for the Christophers and Pughs for being our Thanksgiving "family."
It's so great having friends to share special occasions with.

  1. Love it, love it, love it! We will of course have little weiners on Christmas eve and we can reinsert the talent show into our Eve program...can Ty and Mckinlay choreograph their tricks to "Me and My Teddy Bear"? Start brushing up your piano skills Megs!!!!! As I have been decorating the house I have realized why you are the "felt queen"...you have grown up with felt mice, felt stockings, felt Santa napkin rings, etc, etc!

  3. Yeah!!!
    What wondrful memories you and Mckinlay bring back, Ty - all those times Dad did tricks with you kids. It warmed my heart to see you and Kinners carrying on the family tradition :).

    I'm glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm glad you have good friends to celebrate holidays with when we're so far away.

    We missed you for Thanksgiving and our 'Friday After Thanksgiving' festivities. This year the grandkids started a new tradition Friday night of hanging up their stockings and opening their Christmas jammies. Kinners can hang up her stocking and open her jammies when you get here. She and Peyton will match. Love ya all.
