The other day my friend pulled in the driveway. She drives a mini van. I found myself drooling over it. I looked inside and coveted all the space (Should I not say covet? Maybe I should say: I was so happy for her that she and her family could freely move about their car. Is that better?). Then we had a little chuckle about how, in our young and foolish days, we vowed we'd never be a 'Mini Van Mom'. We'd totally drive be 'SVU Moms'. Then pretty sure she patted the hood of her car and said "I love this baby!"
I so want a mini van, and I'll tell you why:
I wanna "fill all my space with my swagger".
Word to your Motha.
P.S. Thanks you Julie's sister in law for the video link.
P.S.S. This is not an announcement that we are adding another member to the Loveless posse. I just want the space. You know, for my swagger.
P.S.S.S. We will not be getting said SW, any time in the foreseeable future, but a girl can dream, right?

This makes ME want to have a swagger wagon and I don't even have kids! Loved it! My favorite was the little girl's dance moves. She's got skillz. You could totally pull off a mini-van in style, Meghan.
ReplyDeleteI am totally with you on the Swagger Wagon. I totally want one, and I just have one kid. One day, right?
ReplyDeleteI remember how excited we were to get our mazda mini-van! I was thinking about this the other day how funny/interesting it is how we "change" into each stage of life...I am married to an "old man" now but I am fighting really hard to not be an "old lady"...but i feel it coming, kind of like an alien invasion!? Who teaches you these things? You just wake up one morning and you are saying "Mom" things or "old people" phrases...funny and terrifying at the same time! Hilarious video by the way...The Loveli Fam could totally swagger!
ReplyDeletethat video was AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious. Is it just me or do mini-vans seem a lot cooler these days?
ReplyDeleteI just laughed so hard I have tears:) I do love that baby! And I know you don't really want one like ours especially with the princess stickers put up by Halle all over her window:) Thanks for the laugh, can't wait to show Chase:)
ReplyDeleteWe are cramming our three in the back of our Malibu and hoping Jordo will fit in a booster by the time Brooke moves to the next carseat. I totally feel the need and longing for the forbidden mini-van.
ReplyDeleteAmen, I have never regretted one cent that payed for our's! I feel sorry for all those "SUV mom's" THey don't have any room. And they can't open and close the doors with a push of a button! The family in that add only had two kids! I mean, you might as well enjoy it that much longer. I love my mini van!
ReplyDeleteMade my day...totoally want one...they're hot.
ReplyDeleteI've been singing for the past few days.
ReplyDeleteI have a plan. I'm going to memorize it and rap the lyrics at the next family get together.
(That commercial really made me want a mini van.)
I will tell you that our Odyssey was hands-down THE BEST PURCHASE WE HAVE EVER MADE! 2nd best...our triple stroller. ;)
