Mckinlay sized bag

Mckinlay is obsessed with my bags. I have to keep them zipped at all times or I will find my things scattered all over the house. I sewed a library bag a couple of weeks ago and that has become her new favorite bag to carry around. So, I decided it was high time to make her a bag of her own. I found the pattern in this lovely book.
She loves her little bag...but two bags are always better than one, right?

  1. Cute idea! We have the same problem at our house. Abby loves to empty purses and wallets and my husband still can't find his Costco card. That's a great idea though. I'm not much of a seamstress so I might have to buy one!

  2. super cute! you have inspired me to get a sewing machine, maybe I can steal my mom's old one. Mckinlay is off to a good start- you can never have too many bags...

  5. Love the bags and love the olive pic. Jetta loves the purple bag she got from your birthday party in a box! She puts all kinds of gems in it, old food, little toys, things she is trying to hide from Henry. Oh, little girls!

  9. Mason loves my purse too. I have now gone to target 3, yes 3 times when my wallet was pulled out at home and I have to leave all my purchases there and come back. I don't know if Scott would approve of me giving Mason his own purse to play with.
