We have a problem. Did you guys see Pushing Daisies on Wednesday night? Loved it! (If you missed it you can watch it online here.) That is the problem. We are devoted Office fans, and even though LOST is totally buggin', we are WAY too invested to give it up. We were so content with our hour and a half of TV a week. I guess it really isn't a problem yet because LOST doesn't start until January this season...but come January it's gonna be a problem.
What is the big deal you ask? Two and a half hours a week of TV doesn't seem like too much. I agree, in theory, that doesn't seem like too much. However, when our night revolves around a show we have a hard time not turning on the TV and watching all the other stuff that comes on before hand (dang Deal or No Deal!!). And after a night of watching pointless TV, I pretty much feel like junk by bed time. And a lot of mindless TV = lots of projects. Remember these?
But on the bright side, maybe a combination of these shows will fill the void left by Gilmore Girls!? Maybe.

Little secret... you can go to abc.com and watch on your computer! I just watched Pushing Daisies last night that way because we hadn't recorded it! And they cut out all the commercials, aside from about 3 or 4 30-second ones.
ReplyDeleteYour wednesdays are my thursdays... ER and Grey's. Oh heavens. Not to mention that I am a closet Soprano's fan. Luckily it comes on after the kids are in bed. I usually flip that on and fall asleep to it. I am so naughty!!
ReplyDeleteWe sure have been on your blog. It makes mine look boring! You guys have been up to so much! How is the new ward? Running smooth yet? You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI turn into a TV junkie this time of year too! YUCK! I can't help it . . .I am obsessed with too many shows! I still LOVE Lost, but it making me crazy too!
ReplyDeleteAwww... I miss Gilmore Girls... hey, did you ever finish the Twilight series? If you're into attractive vampires, you should check out "Moonlight" on Friday nights - my mom and I watch it! It's kinda cheesy, but the main vampire is extremely attractive!!
ReplyDeleteI've resolved to only watch TV at the gym (on an iPod Touch). This means one of two things:
ReplyDeleteEither I'll get in great shape, or I'll never watch TV. Neither sounds bad! Hehe...
Megs, Pete bought me the best stuff for fixing my flat tires. It's that goo stuff. It seriously works awesome and it takes like 2 seconds. I have fixed the 2 back tires with it and they have stayed full for 2 months. Any store should have it. GOOD LUCK!!
